Dr. Ruhalter is one of Ethicon Endo-Surgery Professional Education’s most distinguished educators and surgeons. In addition to being the Executive Director of Medical Education at Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc., Dr. Ruhalter is a Professor of Anatomy and Professor of Surgery designated as Volunteer Faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (Cincinnati, OH).

Dr. Martin is the Director of Medical Education. Prior to joining the Ethicon Endo-Surgery team she practiced general and vascular surgery in Cincinnati. She teaches anatomy and surgical procedures at the Endo-Surgery Institute.

Since 1991, Ethicon Endo-Surgery associates and Healthcare Professionals attending a program at the Endo-Surgery Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio have experienced or viewed these drawings first-hand. Drs. Ruhalter and Martin pedagogical method includes drawing these elaborate anatomy images on giant chalkboards during their lectures; hence our inclusion of them here as a symbol — a symbol of our signature, targeted approach to professional medical education.
